The use of steam to bend the timber arms and back support provides an efficiency of material use whilst the distinctive curve complements the human body and anchors the four turned legs seamlessly into the surrounding form.
The seat and back cushions are upholstered locally at Cosh Living’s manufacturing facility in Melbourne in a soft fabric or leather of your choice providing the precise amount of comfort to support the body as it moves back into the seat. Quality leather will age gracefully over the years to evoke stories of family gatherings and celebrations that were enjoyed by one and all.
The timber for each and every table is carefully sourced, methodically measured and defined by the hands of a true craftsperson. The raw yet refined sense of beauty and sophistication of the Otway forest is captured in the solid frame that falls away under the table only to reunite at the connection of the four towering legs.
Each design is the result of many small innovations to produce an uncompromising level of honesty with refined precision and accuracy. Translating into a strikingly grand, smooth and robust timber table that can seat up to ten people.
